It was time, time to take Jack to Essenhaus. My little German boy (well, part Italian) was in heaven. They gave him applesauce to start with bread and apple butter (applesauce is his favorite food, he eats it everyday) then to fried chicken, noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn (he didn't have to eat a vegetable today so he passed). He even tried the stuffing and loved it. The best part was when it was dessert time and he was having a hard time eating his ice cream sundae. He just couldn't do it. We got our money's worth out of him. Lily, well, it was bread and butter, some noodles, and ice cream. Oh, but she LOVED the corn. Leave it to the amish to add sugar to their corn. Oh, but how we love our Amish Gluttony experience.
