The Girls

Here are of some of the girls from our group. Lily is the third one from the left in red. I loved all the colors of their silks and seeing all of them talking now, but sad that it's been a LONG time since we've had a new addition to the group. The wait times now are unbelievable. The last picture of Lily is so funny- it's like she is saying "AHHHH ancient Chinese secret, two candies better than one."

Chinese New Year 2009

This year our Adoption group decided to meet at The Jade Garden restaurant, really good food, good service, and they gave us a private room which I'm sure all the other patrons appreciated. The girls did a great job for being a sit down place, of course some of the moms came prepared with crafts and games. Lily and her BFF Gracie and then the girls dancing.

Snow Day

Ok, I guess I don't feel so bad knowing that half the US is dealing with this also, but man, this is a lot of snow. I don't remember the last time I've seen so much at one time. It's -18 degrees out and I couldn't bear watching the poor birds search for birdseed in our empty birdfeeder so I bundled up and filled it. Not to mention poor Sophie finding it hard to do her duty, so to speak, outside without getting snow up her.... With all the schools are closed, and it's too cold to play outside, I'm starting to get cabin fever. To top it off, I'm on a diet and I really want to make chocolate chip cookies. HUGH!!!
