Our life with two fast-moving kids.

We had a great time together, it didn't feel like 10 years has past since we graduated. Time sure does fly by.
After white water rafting (sorry, no pictures) we went to a biker bar called Kermits to unwind. Some more than others...Ash.
After some shopping, we made our way to the hotel for some dinner. Looking good ladies.
Sarah, Ashley, and Becky. Even though Ashley looks worried, it was Becky who was fretting the whole way up the mountain.
My college friends and I met up in Denver for a reunion. We drove up Mt. Evans on our first day. The peak was 42 degrees.

The babies are venturing off. They are probably confused because their natural habitat is in reed ponds and lakes.
Happy 4th of July!
They had these exhibits along the way, Jack took to the drums quickly.
The safari hike was over a mile long and we don't do strollers. All of us were pretty tired, but it was worth it.
Jack really likes zebras.
Giraffes are my favorite animals. I think Jack and I could have stayed there all day feeding them.
The weather was overcast and cool, so all the animals were out and playing around.
For the 4th we went to Battle Creek Mich. to their zoo. They have a great safari walk and you get to feed the giraffes. How cool.
Here is an updated picture of one of the baby birds in our backyard. We think they are American Bitterns. They are related to the heron family.
We also had to convince the kids that a "slip and slide" is fun also. We are still recovering, but successful.
So, I had to give it a try.
It didn't take long.
Matt trying to convince the kids that sprinklers are fun.
The first vegtables from the garden.
